Growing Optimism in the Housing Market

July 12, 2012

According to Fannie Mae’s June 2012 National Survey, Americans are beginning to become more optimistic in regard to buying homes. In a recent survey involving 1000 Americans, 73 % Americans believe they’re willing to buy a home. This is great news, considering that Americans have been relatively hesitant in buying homes since the start of the recession. Reasons for this recent optimism could be because home prices are depressed, rental costs are increasing, and perhaps because interest rates incredibly low. Despite this, some are wary of housing prices and the economic state of the country in the future. Whatever the case, for now, Americans are once again getting the courage to research the housing maket!
